Brook Green is about as local as it gets for us — a short walk from our Hammersmith base, which makes it the easiest place in London for us to fit in a quick job or a same-day fault. The streets between Hammersmith Road and Shepherd’s Bush Road are a mix of substantial Victorian houses, mansion blocks and conversions, and we work in all three.
Mansion-block flats around the green bring shared risers, consumer units in hallway cupboards and managing agents to coordinate with; we’re used to arranging access, providing paperwork and sending certificates straight to the agent. The houses tend towards bigger projects — lighting schemes, rewires during renovation, and kitchen and bathroom electrics coordinated with builders.
Being this close also means we’re a sensible choice for the little jobs people put off: a light fitting that’s been sitting in its box for months, a socket behind the sofa that stopped working, a fuse board that could do with a proper look. WhatsApp us a photo and we’ll fit it in.
